(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 22, 2008) In a week 16 Ghost of 55 League showdown, *Gunsmoke squeaked by a tough *WEASELS 55 team by a score of 98.45 to 94.70, extending the winning streak for *Gunsmoke to 4 games.

*Gunsmoke were led to their 3.75 point victory by a 33.95 point effort from Jay Cutler, who tore apart the Buffalo Bills defense for 359 passing yards in addition to 30 rushing yards. With this performance, Cutler was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 14.80 point effort from Eddie Royal, who snuck past the Buffalo Bills defense for 57 receiving yards in addition to 71 rushing yards.

"I'm really proud of the way our guys hung in there," *Gunsmoke coach David Mairs said.

*WEASELS 55 were helped out in a losing cause by a 20.10 point effort from Cedric Benson, who beat the Cleveland Browns defense for 171 rushing yards. They also got help from a 19.50 point effort from Dallas Clark, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 105 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"We didn't match their intensity," *WEASELS 55 coach Eric Stilwell said.

Compounding the issue, *WEASELS 55 could have scored 124.55 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Eric Stilwell left key players like Marc Bulger and his corresponding 19.25 points on the bench.

*Gunsmoke took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 7 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for *Gunsmoke to 10-6, and drops *WEASELS 55 to a record of 11-4.
