(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 NADS Fantasy Football League matchup, Home Brews beat a strong Cracker Boy team by a score of 100 to 86, extending the winning streak for Home Brews to 8 games.  Home Brews opened up as a 20.0 point favorite and by the time the lineups were submitted, that number had rose to a 25.3 point favorite.  Home Brews had most of his team playing in the early games and jumped out to a 45 point lead.  In the afternoon games, Home Brews scored 43 points as Cracker Boy scored 74 points.  Neither team had any players left to play as Home Brews held on to win by 14 points, 100-86.

Reggie Wayne

Home Brews were led to their 14 point victory by a 32 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 147 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Wayne was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 19 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who got by the Green Bay Packers defense for 97 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 44 receiving yards.

"We played our hearts out," Home Brews coach Joe Escobedo Jr. said.

Cracker Boy were helped out in a losing cause by a 29 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who tore apart the Tennessee Titans defense for 177 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. With this performance, Jones-Drew was the number 3 ranked running back for week 8. They also got help from a 22 point effort from Greg Jennings, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 88 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"They out-hustled us," Cracker Boy coach Joe Curtis said.

This brings the record for Home Brews to 8-0, 1st place in the GOOD division and drops Cracker Boy to a record of 3-5, 3rd place in the UGLY division.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 NADS Fantasy Football League showdown, Dave's Not Here beat a strong Gonna Win Again team by a score of 94 to 82, extending the losing streak for Gonna Win Again to 3 games.  Gonna Win Again had opened up as a 21.0 point favorite and by the time the lineups were submitted, that number had dropped to an 18.0 favorite.  Gonna Win Again had most of his team playing in the early games and jumped out to a 44 points lead.  By the end of the afternoon games, Dave’s Not Here had closed the gap to only an 8 point lead by Gonna Win Again.  Gonna Win Again was done for the week though as Dave’s Not Here still had one more player on Monday night.  Dave’s Not Here managed to score 20 more points to zip past Gonna Win Again by 12 points, 94-82 for the UPSET OF THE WEEK.

Steven Jackson

Dave's Not Here were led to their 12 point victory by a 21 point effort from Steven Jackson, who beat the Detroit Lions defense for 149 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 17 receiving yards. With this performance, Jackson was the number 5 ranked running back for week 8. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Jonathan Stewart, who got by the Arizona Cardinals defense for 87 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs.

"We're going to use this win as a building block," Dave's Not Here coach Dave Galbraith said.

Gonna Win Again were helped out in a losing cause by a 24 point effort from Matt Forte, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 90 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 31 receiving yards. With this performance, Forte was the number 4 ranked running back for week 8. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Miles Austin, who snuck past the Seattle Seahawks defense for 61 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD in addition to 11 rushing yards.

"I take full responsibility for this loss," Gonna Win Again coach Al Kooreman said.

Causing further embarrassment, Gonna Win Again could have scored 117 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but coach Al Kooreman left key players like the Miami Dolphins Defensive Team and his corresponding 21 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Dave's Not Here to 5-3, tied for 1st in the UGLY division and drops Gonna Win Again to a record of 3-5, 4th place in the GOOD division.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 NADS Fantasy Football League matchup, Tommyknockers beat a strong Da Boyz team by a score of 105 to 80, silencing a partisan crowd of 66,717.  In a battle of the bitches, Tommyknockers had opened up as an 8.1 point favorite and by the time the lineups were submitted, that number dropped to a 7.6 point favorite.  Tommyknockers jumped out to an early 30 point lead over Da Boyz.  By the end of the afternoon games, Tommyknockers had actually extended that lead to 46 points but Tommyknockers was done for the week as Da Boyz still had 1 more players on Monday night.  Da Boyz managed to get 21, but it wasn’t enough as Tommyknockers held on to whip Da Boyz by 25 points, 105-80.  I would think that Tommyknockers should have won this game as Da Boyz submitted her lineup with 3 bye week players and her tie-breaker on a bye as well.

Vincent Jackson

Tommyknockers were led to their 25 point victory by a 24 point effort from Vincent Jackson, who beat the Oakland Raiders defense for 103 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Jackson was the number 2 ranked wide receiver for week 8. They also got help from a 24 point effort from Tony Romo, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 256 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 10 rushing yards.

"We took them out of their game," Tommyknockers coach Ginja said.

Da Boyz were helped out in a losing cause by a 30 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 287 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 52 rushing yards. With this performance, Rodgers was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Michael Turner, who beat the New Orleans Saints defense for 151 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD.

"We didn't maintain the intensity for the entire 60 minutes," Da Boyz coach Tilly Van Harpen said.

Adding salt to the wound, Da Boyz could have scored 113 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but coach Tilly Van Harpen left key players like Terrell Owens and his corresponding 16 points on the bench.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 NADS Fantasy Football League showdown, Instant Winners embarrassed a hapless Los Cojones team by a score of 117 to 77, silencing a partisan crowd of 67,321.  Los Cojones had opened up as only a 0.4 point favorite and by the time the lineups were submitted, the line had jumped to 7.8 point favorite for Cojones.  Instant Winners jumped out to only a one point lead after the morning games.  By the end of the afternoon games, Instant Winners widened that lead to 39 points.  Each team had one more player on Monday night.  Los Cojones managed to score only 19 points while Instant Winners scored 20 points to hammer Los Cojones by 40 points, 117-77 for the BLOWOUT OF THE WEEK.

Brett Favre

Instant Winners were led to their 40 point victory by a 29 point effort from Brett Favre, who got by the Green Bay Packers defense for 244 passing yards and 4 passing TDs. With this performance, Favre was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 20 point effort from Marques Colston, who got by the Atlanta Falcons defense for 85 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"We were really on our game," Instant Winners coach Saige Taff said.

Los Cojones were helped out in a losing cause by a 19 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 308 passing yards and 2 passing TDs in addition to 3 rushing yards. With this performance, Brees was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 8. They also got help from a 17 point effort from Dallas Clark, who got by the San Francisco 49ers defense for 99 receiving yards.

"The final score is the only statistic that matters," Los Cojones coach Don Wynkoop said.

This brings the record for Instant Winners to 4-4, 3rd place in the GOOD division and drops Los Cojones to a record of 1-7, 4th place in the BAD division.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 NADS Fantasy Football League classic, Blind Melon Chitlin' beat a strong 5280's team by a score of 71 to 61, behind the support of 68,595 faithful fans.  5280’s opened up as a 6.7 point favorite.  By the time the lineups were submitted, Blind Melon Chitlin’ were actually favored by 2.9 points over 5280’s.  Blind Melon Chitlin’ jumped out to and early 24 point lead after the morning games.  By the end of the afternoon games, 5280 closed that lead to only 6 points but he was done for the week as Blind Melon Chithead still had another player on Monday night.  Blind Baby was sick of losing and scored 4 more points on Monday to cruise past 5280’s by 10 points, 71-61, for his second win of the season for the GAME OF THE WEEK.

Frank Gore

Blind Melon Chitlin' were led to their 10 point victory by a 19 point effort from Frank Gore, who got by the Indianapolis Colts defense for 91 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 43 receiving yards. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Patrick Crayton, who snuck past the Seattle Seahawks defense for 39 receiving yards.

"We're happy we could pull this one out at the end," Blind Melon Chitlin' coach Frank Escobedo said.

5280's were helped out in a losing cause by a 14 point effort from Rob Bironas, who snuck past the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 3 field goals made and 3 extra points. With this performance, Bironas was the number 1 ranked place kicker for week 8. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Larry Fitzgerald, who snuck past the Carolina Panthers defense for 66 receiving yards.

"I take full responsibility for this loss," 5280's coach Jess Powell said.

Adding salt to the wound, 5280's could have scored 87 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but coach Jess Powell left key players like Percy Harvin and his corresponding 19 points on the bench.

Blind Melon Chitlin' took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 10 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 8.

This brings the record for Blind Melon Chitlin' to 2-6, 4th palce in the UGLY division and drops 5280's to a record of 2-6, 3rd place in the BAD division.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 NADS Fantasy Football League battle, Rumrunners beat a strong Got KAYA? team by a score of 104 to 76, silencing a partisan crowd of 69,675.  Rumrunners opened up as a 7.3 point favorite and by the time the lineups were submitted, the line had jumped to a 12.1 point favorite for Rumrunners.  Got Kaya had most of their players going in the early game and managed to score only 61 points but still lead Rumrunners by 27 points.  After the afternoon games were complete, Rumrunners went ahead of Got Kaya for good as neither team had anymore players to go.  Rumrunners whipped Got Kaya by 28 points, 104-76.

Chris Johnson

Rumrunners were led to their 28 point victory by a 35 point effort from Chris Johnson, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 228 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs in addition to 11 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Devin Hester, who got by the Cleveland Browns defense for 81 receiving yards.

"We played our hearts out," Rumrunners coach Butch Miller said.

Got KAYA? were helped out in a losing cause by a 24 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who got by the New York Giants defense for 240 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 14 rushing yards. With this performance, McNabb was the number 3 ranked quarterback for week 8. They also got help from a 16 point effort from DeSean Jackson, who got by the New York Giants defense for 78 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
