Rattail's River Rats at Dreamcrushers

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 27, 2011) Coming up in a week 17 Clark County Association of Armchair Coaches matchup, the 10-4 Rattail's River Rats face off against the 8-6 Dreamcrushers.

Rattail's River Rats were led in week 16 by a 21 point effort from Aaron Rodgers, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 283 passing yards and 5 passing TDs in addition to 18 rushing yards. In addition, Arian Foster was not injured before the start of his week 16 game, and contributed 11 points, but he's listed as out in week 17 due to an injured coach's decision , which might severely limit his fantasy production. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Rattail's River Rats can expect a 14 point effort from the Baltimore Ravens Defensive Team in week 17.

"We're loaded for bear," Rattail's River Rats coach Dave Ratliff said.

Dreamcrushers were led in week 16 by a 13 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who tore apart the San Diego Chargers defense for 373 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 5 rushing yards. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Dreamcrushers can expect a 14 point effort from the Denver Broncos Defensive Team in week 17.

"We have to bend but not break," Dreamcrushers coach Tim Bowers said.

In week 6, Rattail's River Rats defeated Dreamcrushers by 16 points, so coach Tim Bowers is looking for revenge this week. In the 6-year history of this rivalry, Rattail's River Rats hold a 3-4-0 all-time series record against Dreamcrushers.

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Jan 1, 2012) In a week 17 Clark County Association of Armchair Coaches rivalry, Dreamcrushers beat a strong Rattail's River Rats team by a score of 57 to 46, silencing a partisan crowd of 66,797.

Dreamcrushers were led to their 11 point victory by a 21 point effort from Matthew Stafford, who tore apart the Green Bay Packers defense for 520 passing yards and 5 passing TDs. With this performance, Stafford was the number 3 ranked quarterback for week 17. They also got help from a 12 point effort from Neil Rackers, who snuck past the Tennessee Titans defense for 3 field goals made and 1 extra point.

"This is a dream come true," Dreamcrushers coach Tim Bowers said.

Rattail's River Rats were helped out in a losing cause by a 17 point effort from Sebastian Janikowski, who snuck past the San Diego Chargers defense for 4 field goals made and 2 extra points. With this performance, Janikowski was the number 2 ranked place kicker for week 17. They also got help from a 15 point effort from Julio Jones, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 76 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs in addition to 9 rushing yards.

"They wanted it more than we did," Rattail's River Rats coach Dave Ratliff said.

Rattail's River Rats drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 11 out of 14 other potential opponents in week 17.

This brings the record for Dreamcrushers to 8-6, and drops Rattail's River Rats to a record of 10-4.
